George Washington (Wash) Blackwell, son of William Marshall Blackwell and ElizabethStrader, born about 1828 in North Carolina; may have married twice.
His marriage to Delia Whitaker on March 8, 1855, is recorded in Muhlenberg County marriage records. But the 1860 census for Muhlenberg County shows his wife to be "Lotta J” age 25.
His children in 1860 were: Robert R., 4; Warick M., 2; Cordelia W., one.
