Beth Louise Smith, daughter of Claude Gerrard Smith

Beth Louise Smith, daughter of Claude Gerrard Smith, born September 10, 1939; married Joe Johnson on March 21, 1959 (they were later divorced).  Their children:

Sandra Sue Johnson, born October 13, 1960, at Evanston

                                   

Gary Joe Johnson, born January 11, 1962, at Evanston; died April 11, 1964, in Logan, Utah.

Louise married Eugene Lee Choate on June 1, 1966, a widower with three children. They became the parents of one daughter, LeAnn Choate, born July 3, 1969.  They were divorced in late 1972.  

Louise attended Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah, and continued her education at Utah State University, in Logan, from which she received a Bachelor's degree in June 1966.  She has taught at South Junior High School in Ogden and at the Utah State Industrial School at Ogden.  She is working on her Master's degree.
