Diana Jeanne Smith, daughter of Claude Gerrard Smith, born July 20,
1947. Diana was salutorian of her high school
class and received an academic scholarship to the University of Wyoming, where
she went directly from high school for the summer quarter. She returned for the school year 1965-66.
On
June 6, 1966, she was married to Donald Edward Earnshaw, a University of Wyoming student from Lexington,
Massachusetts. Early in 1968 they moved
to Kemmerer, Wyoming, where Don works for the Wyoming State Employment Service.
He has continued his studies in
psychology and counseling and has credits beyond graduation requirements but
has not filled the foreign language requirement necessary for a B.A. degree. Children are:
Jessica Lee Earnshaw, born May 2, 1967, in Laramie, Wyoming.
Eric Wade Earnshaw, born February 8, 1970, in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
