Elias G. Smith, son of Jesse W. Smith

Elias G. Smith, son of Jesse W. Smith, born 1810 or 1811, in Kentucky; married March 23, 1830, Harriett Anderson, daughter of William Anderson.  Union County records show that William Anderson deeded to his daughter, Mrs. Harriett Smith, on September 2, 1854, 80 acres of land in that county.  The following sixteen children were members of the Elias G. Smith household in the years 1850 and 1860 (all Kentuckians);
