Zachius Tate Smith, son of George R. Smith, born January 24, 1805, in Kentucky, married Frances B. Lawson, March 2, 1826, in Gibson County, Indiana; died August 21, 1875, in Posey County and is buried there.  Their children, all born in Posey County, Indiana, were:
