William Marshall Smith, son of Elsberry Smith, born September 25, 1849, in Smith Township; died in
the same place on December 23, 1925.
Rebecca E. McPherson became his
bride on January 8, 1898. She was born
April 14, 1852, and died June 24, 1920; buried in Smith Township Cemetery. Rebecca was the daughter of David McPherson and Zeppora
Blackwell, a sister to Susanna Mary Ann Blackwell. No issue.
