Peter K. Smith, son of George R. Smith, born October 17, 1803; died December 15, 1870; married, first, on November 27,1822, Sally Davis; married, second, on April 27, 1825, Matilda Montgomery; moved about 1858 to the locality of Benton, Illinois.  

His and Sally Davis' children were:

Peter Smith, Jr.

Martha (Patsey) Smith; married George Washington Finch and is said to have become the mother of 15 children; died February 1, 1910.
